WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. employers cut 4,000 jobs in August, the first time in four years that monthly hiring contracted, the government said on Friday in a report certain to boost pressure on Federal Reserve policy makers to cut interest rates.
And let's keep in mind this is a drop of 4,000 jobs as defined by BushCoâ„¢, which dropped from the statistics people not working and no longer receiving unemployment benefits. You know, most of the homeless in the country. Just imagine the state of unemployment statistics should they be included.
