SYDNEY, Nov. 24 — Prime Minister John Howard of Australia suffered a comprehensive defeat today, with a coalition led by his Liberal Party losing its majority in parliament.
Hell, I bet even Israel politicians aligned with the Bush administration will find they are going to lose.
It was just that his party lost the election, one of the seats in parliament that they lost was Howard's own. He was beaten by a woman on her first attempt at being elected to public office after a career as a television newscaster.
The voters really had it in for him after 11 years.
Ah, but these politicians that have followed Bush on international issues, have also tended to pursue similar domestic policies. Bush is the poster child for their ideology.
