An open thread, you don't respond to comments on regular threads, which I can understand based on your modus operandi for blogging.
So, do y'all miss the good old days when Jesse Ventura was governor?
Yes! He may have been nuts. He may have been outspoken. He may have made a spectacle of himself. But damn it, he didn't screw over the middle class like Timmy has.
We may have to look into getting a pro wrestler for Florida, it couldn't be any worse than what we've had, and people might think the government can accomplish something.
It did, but I deleted it. As to a pro wrestler as Governor for Florida, I might suggest Jesse's old tag team partner Adrian Adonis. Somehow, it just seems to make sense. Of course, he's dead, but some how that also seems to make sense, what with politics in Florida appearing to be in it's death throes.
Well, if he was buried in Miami-Dade, he'll still be able to vote, so he's qualified. I do think the open meetings law might be a bit of challenge, but accommodations can be made.
