And yes, I know I said I would make my move this morning. So, I got caught up in "The Fellowship Of The Ring." It's that time of the year for me to read Tolkien.

I never was much of a Tolkein fan, for some reason. Then again, I was never very good at D&D either -- I'm sure those two things are related, just don't ask me how that is, 'cause I dunno. In related news, I saw "The Golden Compass" not too long ago, and I so totally enjoyed it. Of course, I read the book back in the 90s, so I knew what to expect. Frankly, I couldn't have helped myself, even if I'd wanted to -- I love computer-generated English-speaking polar bears to no end. But enough about me...

Your last move was real good. I wanted that c-4 pawn. No dice now, I'm afraid. So, after consulting with the other two chess warriors in my innermost circle (the three of us being Me, Myself, and I), we have elected to move as follows: pawn e-5 takes pawn d-6.

Why? Answer supplied on request...
