National Public Newspaper.
(Star Tribune) WASHINGTON - A Maryland senator is proposing that newspapers be allowed to operate as nonprofits. A bill by Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., would let newspapers choose a tax-exempt status similar to public broadcasting stations. So, that would allow all sorts of anagrams:
A myriad of possibilities.
- NPN
- SPPN (St. Paul Public Newspaper)
- MPN (Minneapolis Public Newspaper)
- MSPN (Minnesota State Public Newspaper)

Actually the St. Petersburg Times in Florida is already a non-profit. It is published by a foundation, not a corporation. They don't seem to be having any problems.
