Seriously, what is wrong with this man?

• Showed up at the home of a private citizen three times, including once at 1:30 a.m. That incident is especially telling because it clearly was about harassing Mr. Armstrong, not engaging in free speech.

• Further engaged in behavior that, while not perhaps sufficient to charge criminal stalking, was harassing, uninvited and showed a pattern that was in the everyday sense, stalking.

• Harassing Armstrong's friends as they were socializing in Ann Arbor;

• Numerous calls to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office, Armstrong's employer, in an attempt to slander Armstrong -- and ultimately attempting to cause Pelosi to fire Armstrong;

• Attempting to "out" Armstrong's friends as homosexual -- several of whom were not gay.

Cox said Shirvell engaged in his campaign against Shirvell on company time and posted attacks on Armstrong on the Internet while at work.

If his attempt was to look homophobic - well - he did a damn fine job.

I do not understand. What is it with the Republican conservative movement's inability to work and play well with others? Are they that rigidly locked into a literal, concrete form of thinking that they can not tolerate any deviation from their societal comfort zone? Is their fear of change so overwhelming that they lose all sense of respect and decorum? Are they truly suffering from a belief in their inability to deal with natural change?

In the end, all I see are cowards unable to accept human society as it has always been: an evolving, changing system of concepts, theories, and expectations that are fluid and ephemeral; defying the understanding of the very makers of the systems, leaving them utterly overwhelmed and unable to recognize there is no answer to the question 'Why?"

Why make this type of claim? I get the impression he was lead to believe some deal would be struck. If I had to guess, I would say Mr. Preacher Man has found himself over his head and is desperate for a way out of the spotlight. In any case, he really is a jackass.

After the last post, I could not help but laugh at this:

I know, I know. I should not laugh at the pain and suffering of others, but no one has slipped on a banana peel in front of me in an age. So, forgive me if I find humor in this poor kid's suffering.

What the hell do you say to something this onerous?

Of course, you know he says this stuff simply to remain in the news.

Dobbs to leave CNN effective immediately. Do not let the door hit your ass on the way out, you racist, bigoted asshole.

You know, considering trends were apparent like 30 years ago that minority plurality was increasing while "white" majority status was decreasing, you would think the GOP would have done some long-term planning about how to include them in their base. Obviously not.
